The background: SALT, Festival of the Sea & Environment runs every year in Folkestone. 

“SALT Festival returns for its fourth year, with a mix of joy and provocation, urgency and exhilaration, as we immerse ourselves in questions of landscape and culture. Together we'll explore environmental concerns such as extinction and climate; consider public activism, slow fashion, and (re)wilding; devour hearty local food, build boats, bellow shanties, and so much more.

SALT explores the way coastal environments shape who we are and asks what the future might hold for those living on the edge.”

The Brief

A simple printed programme. The festival had an existing identity and wanted a programme that evolved from previous years versions.

The Solution

A wonderfully simple booklet design, that gave the events some space on the page and allowed room for showcasing photography. Produced within a tight deadline and printed on uncoated stock, this booklet was warmly received by the client.

Working with Fiona and the Flourish team on the brochure for SALT Festival of the Sea & Environment was super straightforward and professional. They listened to the brief, came up with creative ideas and worked collaboratively towards a stunning and user-friendly piece of print.
